No Witty Title

Wow!  The flist is a-poppin!  I was offline for one evening (& not all evening!) and I have 2 pages of posts to read!  Ok, that probably doesn't sound like much, but I don't have a lot of friends.

So, let's bring this puppy to an end!  Once again, I'm flying by the seat of my pants.

I've gotten to the phase where I'm not taking notes anymore.  And it's been a little while since I watched the episodes.  (In fact, I think I skipped "Ghostfacers," not because I didn't like it, but I suddenly had the urge to watch the gag(less) reel.  Go figure.)

In other news, I came this-->  <--close to buying a wide screen tv this weekend.  After waiting in the tv section with no salesperson in sight, I found someone to ask for assistance.  Two reps came in, and each immediately approached a guy.  Funny thing is, they spent all this time with the guys, pointing out differences & such without the guarantee they would buy.  I'd already done my research and had the set picked out and was going to buy.  After waiting 15 minutes, I left.  And I let them know they missed a sure sell.  I am  going to swing by Circuit City on the way home.  I wonder if they can deliver by Thursday.

One week to go!  Eeeeeeee!!!1!!

Oh man, Sci Fi Chicks is taking up nearly all my time. Not that I'm complaining. It's just that the Hiatus from Hell reviews are suffering, as are the making of little tiny pictures of cute people & cats.

I wrote this review awhile back in the vein of "All Hell Breaks Loose."  But since no one commented on "Pigs fly," I'm guessing you're getting tired of the style.  But you'll have to bear with me for today's review.

What can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment.  I tried to include parts 3.02 and 3.03, but FCK Editor (yes, that is the name of the software LJ uses) is not cooperating with me.  (I could tell you about my first run-in with FCK Editor, but then I'd have to kill you.)

I wrote a ridiculously long analysis of "The Magnificent Seven" already, and I'm not inclined to write it again.

Went to Target to buy the Supernatural Season 3 DVD, came out $170.00 later. (Just couldn't bring myself to buy the set at Best Buy. Perhaps if the mini-Impala had 4-doors, I would have been more tempted.)

I woke up this morning thinking I'd write about the season 2 finale when I realized I hadn't written about "What Is and What Should Never Be."  Oops!

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm way behind on these.  I have been watching 1 episode per night, just not writing about them.

Even though I haven't been posting my hiatus reviews, I have been watching (and even taking notes), 1 episode per night.

OMG!  How crappy was my weekend?  I need to add a tag to my post from yesterday.  That tag would be "whining."

But srsly!  Not only did I not make any iconz, I did not vote in any of the iconz contests this weekend!  Wow.  That's really bad.  (Oh wait, I did make a quicky icon out of one of the "Houses of the Holy" screencaps, but it was pretty minimal in the creative department.)

zanne68 and I have talked about the Iowa episodes, but didn't think there'd been any in season 2.  Who knew Twin Lakes was in Iowa.  I'm guessing it's right up there around Mason City Clear Lake.

While I'm sitting here waiting to get the domain name shit figured out (3rd call to hosting service—at least this time I got someone who understands; or, it could be that I'm just making more sense in explaining the problem...after all, I've had lots of practice), I might as well start my "Houses of the Holy" recap.

Uh-oh.  I checked my Supernatural countdown clock and have sort of fallen behind in my episode viewing and commenting.  Well, not totally, because I can still finish in time if I watch 1 episode and write 1 review a day.  That means I get no time off from now until Sep 18.  You wouldn't think this is a bad thing, but it takes time finding screen caps, fixing them up and uploading them.  Plus I'm trying to get the fangirl_tv domain name snafus straightened out.  And work is making me... work!  Oh gosh, bitch, bitch, bitch.

I decided to take the night off from watching the next episode because I want to bask in the beauty that is "Playthings."  And by beauty, I mean the prettiness.  I downloaded no less than 15 (fifteen!) possible 22mm's, the vast majority of them being Sam.

Poor Mr. Tinkles.  May he rest in peace.  Alongside poor, cute, troubled Scott.

Man, I wrote a lot of comments for "Croatoan."

( You got a neighbor named Mr. Rogers? Not anymore. ) and nuj mentioned, but I like the military thing better.  Makes me dislike John even more.  *heh*

Remember when I mentioned the "Excuse me?" line.  I think "Fine." "Fine." "Fine,"  might be another FCC-approved substitution.

Ok, on to the errors:  Sam, Roanoke residents did not disappear overnight.  It was 3 years.  And Dean, "how bills become law," is not history.  It's government.  Ok, government is based on history, so I'll concede.  And one of you mentions "Get to the Roadhouse."  Uh, have you ever driven from Oregon to Nebraska?  It's not a quick trip.  Even if it's eastern OR to western NE.

Interestingly, I never really made a strong connection to the YED (other than the Duane/Meg similarity), but now that we know why Sam was immune to the virus, it makes sense.  And speaking of Duane, wonder it we'll ever see him again.  Probably not, but show has surprised me before.

Sam abuses cast moment #3, or #4 (depending if you consider Sam used his cast when knocking down the brick wall in "The Usual Suspects") when telling Dean to leave him to go bonkers and die.  Of course, Dean can't do it, because he wuvs his Sammy.

22mm's tonight are a little different.  Both feature both boys.  Awww.
    
#1) look at t those bow legs.  (I wonder how old Jensen was when he started walking.  My mom felt that if you walk too early, it causes the legs to bow because the bones aren't quite ready for it.)  #2)  So pretty.
